FOUNDATION PROGRAM

Prepares Students for a Future in Art and Design

Manhattan Art Foundation program immerses students in exploring art and design concepts, skills, and critical practices, training them to become flexible thinkers, strong makers, and life-long learners. The curriculum offers a survey of approaches to art and design that prepares students for Undergraduate and Graduate programs at schools and enables them to envision paths beyond the confines of a single discipline. The studio work encompasses 2D and 3D forms in their optical, technical, and symbolic natures. Through this process, individual imagination, skill, ambition, and preferences are examined.
